Go to ur desktop and create a folder named Notepad . Then try viewing source of any web page in Internet Explorer . What happens ? Also has anybody tried making a folder named con in windows ?
LOL!! I had a shortcut to notepad on my desktop for a while (when I was using Win XP) and had no idea why I couldn't view the source of a site!! I don't remember how we figured it out but when we removed the notepad shortcut, it was fixed. It was maddening at first.
Don't have this problem w/ Ubuntu, luckily. I like haveing Notepad (Text Editor) on the desktop.
